“Is the Easter bunny real?” she asked suspiciously. My heart sank. I tried to distract my 7 year old with the thought of what was inside the egg, that’s what’s important. It’s what’s inside that counts.
Sunday is not only Easter day, but it also marks my ninth Sunday in launch mode (I sound like a flipping astronaut). Nine Sundays ago I flew to Seattle to introduce my new business. Between then and July I will have visited Seattle, Chicago, Minneapolis, New York, Charleston, Winterpark, Naples, Thomasville, Raleigh, Charlotte, Greensboro, Key Biscayne, Los Angeles, Houston-Austin-Dallas-Denver, back to New York, Utah, Boston, Miami, Atlanta, Tampa twice and some where in here I will nip across the pond to promote my new book and see my mum in England.
I just took three days off to go zip lining in Costa Rica. “It’s very irresponsible of you to put company property at risk,” said my CEO as I set off.
Along the way I have met extraordinary women from all walks of life whose extraordinary stories I will continue to share. Many of these women have decided to partner with me, in fact over a hundred and thirty of them and every day more sign up. It’s happening. It’s happening. This is becoming as much a community as a company.
And we are having rather a lot of fun along the way.
But the success of where we are belongs to our corporate team, our entrepreneurial ambassadors and to a great many friends of mine who have been so generous in their support.
Happy Easter, bunnies.
